Mountains, rocks, the craggy peaks of Valtellina: here lies the essence of Nino Negri. The unique climate of terraced vineyards shapes complex and elegant wines with distinct aromatic distinctiveness. Castel Chiuro Valtellina Superiore DOCG Riserva 2011 is the result of unique aging: a long and patient evolution of more than 10 years in Nino Negri’s underground cellars, between wood and bottle.
Evolving the label design created for the limited edition released in celebration of the 120th anniversary of the winery’s founding, the packaging communicates the extraordinariness of the product with a clean layout, enhanced by the use of marbled paper with gold inserts.
In order to meet the need for a high print run, from the original edition reproduced on paper hand-decorated by Florentine artisans, a digitized version capable of providing equal uniqueness and inimitability was developed.
Starting with a careful selection of textures, it was possible, through the “mosaic” printing technique, to randomly reproduce the patterns and create sheets with one of a kind variations. None of Castel Chiuro’s 6,000 bottles has the same design as another, making it a unique piece.
