In the world of wine, it’s often said that we drink first with our eyes.
But wine is a multisensory experience—and it shouldn’t exclude those who experience it through other senses.
From this idea comes Senza 1 Senso, an accessible wine packaging project developed with AIS Lombardia and the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired (UICI Milano), designed to make the wine experience accessible to blind and visually impaired people.
The project starts from a simple yet powerful element: the bottle label.
We designed an accessible wine label system that combines:
The bottle becomes something you can explore with your hands and listen to—expanding the sensory experience of wine.
The project was made possible thanks to the contribution of leading technical partners such as UPM, Luxoro Kurz, La Commerciale and OREV, who supported the label’s development with expertise, materials, and know-how.
“Senza 1 Senso” is not designed for a single winery.
It’s an accessible labeling system that can be adopted by different producers, creating a shared language within the wine world.
A sign of inclusion that brings together different realities under one simple idea: making the wine experience accessible to everyone.
Bottles featuring the Senza 1 Senso label include a solidarity contribution to the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired, supporting projects focused on autonomy and inclusion.
Design is not just about making a product recognizable.
It’s about expanding the experience.
With Senza 1 Senso, the wine label stops being purely visual and becomes a surface that activates touch, listening, and discovery—transforming packaging into a tool for accessibility.
intentionally challenged through a black-on-black surface that requires attention, time, and a shift in perspective.
enabled by Braille, guiding the fingers and restoring autonomy in reading.
brought to life through audio content, turning information into storytelling and making it accessible to all.
Today, packaging can no longer be just aesthetic—it must be strategy, storytelling, and connection.
We design innovative packaging that transforms every product into a multisensory experience—engaging, memorable, and impactful.
We don’t just design labels: we build communication systems that integrate design, technology, and content.
Packaging that speaks, that can be touched, that can be heard.
Packaging that includes—without excluding anyone.
