A historic winery located in the heart of South Tyrol and a guardian of ancient knowledge, Kettmeir projects itself towards the future while maintaining a strong bond with tradition. It relies on NSG to create an enhanced visual identity for the ‘I Classici’ line, aiming to impart a sense of freshness and modernity to the packaging while preserving its strong territorial identity and increasing its perceived value.
This inspired the creation of a refined graphic design that uses a contemporary language to convey the key concepts of elevation and elegance.
The new symbol chosen is the osprey (Pandion haliaëtus), a bird species native to South Tyrol that migrates to Lake Kaltern. As a unifying element of the packaging, its flight is accentuated by highlighting a different color on a single wingbeat, giving each wine in the line a unique identity.
The raptor’s ascent to great heights symbolizes the brand’s mission and values: the pursuit of progress leads to excellence.
