Senza1Senso, the accessible packaging project we developed for AIS Lombardia to mark the 20th anniversary of the ViniPlus Lombardia guide, has been selected for the Pentawards shortlist, one of the world’s most authoritative organisations in the field of packaging design.
Senza1Senso was born from a simple yet fundamental question: can wine also become an accessible experience for people who cannot see?
The answer lies in the label, which combines braille writing for tactile reading with NFC technology to activate audio content through one simple gesture: bringing a smartphone close to the bottle. Touch, hearing and sight come together in a single communication system, designed to include without compromising on aesthetics.
Inclusivity and creativity: the project featured by Pentawards
What makes us even prouder is that the project was directly featured by Pentawards in the article “Trends Revisited: Mid-Year Reflections”, dedicated to the mid-year update on the packaging design trends identified at the beginning of 2026.
Among the movements analysed is “Bye Bye Barriers”: a trend that sees inclusivity no longer as a compromise, but as an opportunity to push creativity beyond its limits.
Here, Senza1Senso is presented as a concrete example, with the label described as a targeted and inclusive device capable of transforming packaging into a voice that tells the story of wine.
At NSG, we combine strategy, creativity and measurable results to create tailor-made digital projects: designed to inspire, built to perform. Get in touch and let’s discover together how to shape truly effective communication.
