At Packaging Première & PCD Milan, the event dedicated to luxury and wine packaging, Ruggeri presents Limitless, the limited edition created by NSG in collaboration with leading partners in wine design.

Milan, 23 May 2024
Ruggeri, a prestigious name in Italian sparkling wines, announces the launch of its limited edition of Quartese Limitless – Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, an ambitious project with a design that is innovative both aesthetically and conceptually, the latest chapter in the company’s image renewal strategy.

Through a range of printing techniques and label materials, Ruggeri continues to stand out as a pioneering brand with a “visionary” approach, able to set new trends in the wine world.
The technical presentation of Ruggeri Limitless is scheduled for today at the Tonutti Tecniche Grafiche stand at Packaging Première, the industry event at Allianz MiCo in Milan.
“The creative concept – explains Luca Mancini, CEO of NSG – tells, symbolically through the four fundamental elements, the strong bond between Ruggeri and its territory, Valdobbiadene and its UNESCO World Heritage hills. The key to it all was making the fifth element visible: Ruggeri’s quintessence, its immaterial identity, that is, the exploration of the unknown in the continuous pursuit of excellence”.
To overcome every creative and technological limit, close collaboration with renowned partners specialising in packaging design was essential: Tonutti Tecniche Grafiche for printing, Luxor for embellishment and cliché, Fedrigoni Self-Adhesive for self-adhesive papers and Pozzoli for secondary packaging.
With tailor-made care and great expertise, they were able to bring the creative vision of NSG and Ruggeri to life through advanced and innovative technical solutions, creating a true masterpiece.
“Printing Quartese – says Vanio Agostinelli, technical manager at Tonutti – was a great challenge because of the enormous quantity and complexity of processes that we completed with great professionalism and pride. The constant dialogue with our partners was stimulating: together we saw what we initially thought was an industrially unachievable project take shape, evolve and grow day by day”.
“We are obviously very proud to collaborate on this project, which involves leading names across the supply chain” states Alessandro Carnevale, brand ambassador at Luxoro. “The label surprised us both for its concept and for the way it unfolds perfectly across the various stages and layers of the label”.
Starting with the Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives papers, attention was also paid to the use of materials with a reduced environmental impact. The recycled post-consumer natural fibres and cotton waste from the textile industry that make up the chosen papers give a rich, tactile quality – perfectly consistent with the concept – and at the same time a sense of prestige and quality.
The Kurz finishes adorning the packaging, distributed exclusively in Italy by Luxoro, are also certified for recyclability, compostability and deinkability so as not to affect disposal.
To see it in the best wine shops and trendy venues, we just have to wait for Ruggeri’s official public launch, scheduled for next June.
