A restyling project for two wines from the Marche
Two wines, two stories, one heart
Podere Vito Cardinali is a winemaking estate deeply rooted in the land of the Marche. Born from the personal dream of Vito Cardinale – a steel entrepreneur with a deep love for his native land – the project is the result of an attentive, sustainable approach that combines respect for farming tradition with cutting-edge practices and technologies to enhance the local territory.
To tell this vision through a wine packaging restyling and an identity that conveys authenticity and emotional depth, we carried out tailor-made, strategic work on the two labels: Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi and Costa Lisiano Marche Rosso.
A design that unites memory, vision and territory
For the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, the creative work focused on the figure of Vito. The aim was to create a symbolic portrait of the two worlds in which he has played a leading role, the steel industry and farming, and to express his passion for art.
The design takes inspiration from Fausto Melotti’s “Planetario”: the spiral line, with an upward motion, leads the eye up towards the representation of the grape berry – a symbol of transformation and rebirth – while the micro-embossed foils add a tactile, elegant dimension and underline the different nature of the elements depicted, raising the perceived value of the packaging.

The dream seen from “La Scarpa”
In the case of Costa Lisiano, the narrative changes tone and becomes more intimate. Here the tribute goes to the Lacrima grape, strictly typical of the territory. To do so, we chose to represent a distinctive feature of the founder’s home village, Morro d’Alba, namely “La Scarpa”: the covered walkways along the town walls from which young Vito watched the fields that would one day become his estate, the place where the dream of Podere Vito Cardinali was born in a child.
