NSG thanks Mario Di Paolo, the jury, Vinitaly and all the participants who made the event and the presentation of the lifetime achievement award to Giacomo Bersanetti possible.
In the video presented, we chose not to dwell on the details of the packaging and its origins, but to focus on the fundamental principles that inspired Giacomo’s work, as illustrated in the images:
first of all there is the “individual” (the photograph showing Giacomo immersed in the nature of a garden) and the ability to generate ideas by observing and reworking what surrounds us, which each of us possesses and is able to express in our own unique way.
This is (we believe he would say) the “creativity” he would most wish for “Made in Italy” today: a creativity to be defended, unique and capable of conveying our cultural and territorial reality.
“Attention to detail”, that is, paying attention to what is being created, accompanying the message expressed by a project through every step up to the production stage.
Finally “the team”, and by “team” we do not mean only the closest collaborators (absolutely essential), but everyone who takes part in the work: from the winemakers themselves, who commission it, to the printing press operators who bring it to life on paper.
This is a fundamental element in my father’s modus operandi and, not by chance, I believe it is also the reason why he was so respected: he spoke with everyone and considered everyone a “collaborator” on his projects.
These points in our working approach have guided SGA Wine Design, today NSG, and will continue to do so in the future, “to infinity and beyond” as he loved to say, because: “creativity is the result of many contributions”.
